From Tuesday through to Thursday we started piecing all the separate dramas together. Finally I could see it coming together. By Thursday we had learnt 2 dances a contemporary routine and a traditional routine and had a full production ready to perform on Friday at the school I did my placement at.

Today was the first day at the national theater, initially I was really excited but when we arrived I lost most of my excitement as there was soo much confusion around what we had previously done in the workshops.
I struggled to see where the production was heading to but I spoke with the others and decided to give it a try.

Today everyone made their way into Accra, but because I wanted to go and see my grandma I asked my uncle to take me to Kumasi.
I went to Kumasi on a VIP coach. I loved the bus because I never expected it to be that comfortable, however my opinion of the bus quickly changed when the bus broke down. Luckily we were able to get on another one, and I soon reached my grandma's house.

Today at placement auntie Mabel allowed me and Samantha to teach one session. We decided to teach the the famous nursery rhyme 'Twinkle Twinkle little star'. To my surprise the majority of the kids already knew the song, so we decided to add some actions to the song. I could tell the kids really enjoyed it and so did I.

Today we had our first day at our placements. My placement was at the Unique Christianville Educational Institute. When we arrived we were taken into the principals office and were introduced to the owner of the school, the principal, the accountant, and the receptionist. We were then given an introduction to the school and taken round to see the various different classrooms.
During their break time we were asked to sit in the music room. Whilst waiting we were all individually called into the principals office and asked which subjects we enjoyed the most. I chose Mathematics, English and Sports. After this we were escorted to different classes. My class was kindergarten 2 of which the children were all around 5 years old. The teacher leading my class was called auntie Mabel, she was teaching the children simple addition using bottle caps. She instructed me to draw lines in their books to prepare them
for the exercise she was setting them called 'Add the numbers'. I was put in charge of leading them through this exercise and i enjoyed it soo much.
